Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp is a Canadian actress known for her lead roles in numerous television series and also for her powerful performances in movies. Her work is a hit on Canadian as well as American television. Emily started acting when she was 12 after she had a visit with her elder sister Katie in one of Katie's film productions. When Emily realized her love for acting, she began training in acting classes and went to auditions. After some commercials, which were successful, she was quickly cast in the Canadian Kids' Horror TV series Are You afraid of Dark? The show had one episode that she didn't talk. In the WB TV show Glory Days, she received her first break in the industry at the age of 15. Emily's performance in the WB show Glory Days that was cancelled 9 episodes later, drew the attention and interest of Greg Berlanti from Dawson's Creek. Emily can also be a dancer, a photographer and was named one of the top 20 teens' actors. The Maxim's Hot 100 List of 2014 listed Emily as 51.
